We're back and with exciting changes this year! We're now the Wiley Post Story Ride-to Read (WPSRR) to reflect our new association with the Maysville Public Library and Wiley Post Memorial Foundation. From this point on all proceeds generated from the WPSRR will go towards building a New Public Library and Museum for the Town of Maysville!

Come help us build our dream by joining us for a ride in the country!

THREE ROUTS: 30, 40 and 52 miles. Routs are clearly marked on paved city/county roads and highways. Obey all traffic laws and ANSI approved helmets are required. There will be plenty of eats and drinks and restrooms at all rest stops. Rest stops will be every ten to twelve miles. All pre-registrations will receive T-shirts.

REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is $15.00 before June 1st; $20.00 after. ALL PRE-REGISTERED RIDERS WILL BE GUARANTEED T-SHIRTS!

LATE REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP: You may pick up your packets or register for the ride from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m. Ride will begin at 8:00 a.m. Restrooms will be available before and after the ride. SORRY! Packets can not be mailed.

SAG WAGONS: Sag wagons will patrol the routes to provide assistance for those who need help. After 12:00 p.m. you are on your own. RIDE WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE.

2002 WILEY POST FESTIVAL

Many new events and features have been planned for this year's Wiley Post Festival. Our annual event is one of our primary Library Fund-raisers and great fun for the entire family. While avid bikers are touring the countryside, their friends and families can enjoy the many craft booths and food vendors at our festival as well as participate in drawings, games, enjoy live music and performances... and don't forget to stop by the Maysville High School Cheerleader's booth for Home-made Ice Cream! :-) Admission to the festival is FREE! If you'd like to participate in the Wiley Post Festival as a Performer, volunteer or as a vendor, contact Sami Robb at the Maysville Library at 405-867-4748 or by e-mail at mysvllbk@wilnet1.com.

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
